5 myths about functional mushrooms debunked:

1. They get you high

Our natural mushroom supplements don’t contain psychoactive compounds. But they do contain other beneficial compounds such as polysaccharides, triterpenes, and antioxidants that support cognitive health and overall well-being.

2. They're a new trend

Fungi have been used in holistic culture for thousands of years. There is evidence that ancient cultures in China, India, and Egypt used various types of mushrooms for medicinal purposes. This long history of use adds credibility to their benefits as a supplement.

3. You should stick to one functional mushroom at a time

Our blends work perfectly when mixed and matched. Personally, I like to pair Focus and Boost together in the morning, and then Rescue and Breathe in the afternoon for a supercharged day! Stick to the serving instructions on the label for the best results.

4. All mushroom supplements are the same and don’t work

One thing that many people don’t realise it their effects can vary depending on the method used to extract the bioactive compounds. We use a dual extraction method; this process ensures that all the beneficial compounds are extracted from the mushroom, providing maximum health benefits.

5. Fillers and nasties creep in the formula to bulk them up

Bloomin blends don’t contain any fillers or bulking agents. We take the highest quality organic mushrooms and blend them with synergistic herbs and superfoods to create our blends.
